. . . I'm so glad I chose to live in Hidden Hills . . .

After spending a few weeks looking around for a place to live, I ran across a listing for a home that I thought I might like!  Where was it?  Hidden Hills in Deland!  After meeting with the property manager and looking at the property, I was very interested and filled out the paperwork and made an offer.  Things went along smoothly; my offer was accepted, and I moved into my new home in April.  Everyone I've met here has been friendly and helpful.  I was interested in being an active part of the Hidden Hills community, so I started attending activities and meeting more people! Is everything perfect?  Heck, no!  But I'm willing to work to make things better.  I participate in pool exercise when I can; I read the book for Book Club each month, attend the Dine Out and Lunch Bunch meals, play Bunco and Bingo, and am thinking of a few other actitivies that others might enjoy.  Life is what you make of it, and sometimes it is difficult to keep a smile on your face at all times, but I find a positive attitude helps, and if you are smiling a lot, others might wonder what you're up to!  I'm so glad I chose to live in Hidden Hills which has one of the lowest lot rents around and nice amenities.  I plan to be here for a long time! -- Mary
