Old Town Albuquerque is a designated historic site that was founded in 1706 and was Albuquerque’s first neighborhood.  Every summer, Burqueños and tourists alike have the chance to celebrate the culture and history that makes the heart of this city a unique place to enjoy with the family.  Summertime In Old Town is a free series of live musical performances that take place in Old Town Plaza and includes a variety of performances from different genres of music such as blues, salsa, jazz and folk.
