Sea Aira February Newsletter

This winter season has been particularly cold for us Southern Californians- I’m sure many of us are feeling like spring can’t come soon enough!   Please take a look below for some community reminders and local events for a welcome distraction to the chilly weather:

Now that the holiday season has come to a close, the office would like to remind residents to remove all unapproved outdoor lighting and décor such as Christmas lights or trimming. 

Trash Reminder: please be mindful to throw your garbage in the dumpster.  Do not allow trash to sit on top of the lids or on the ground around the dumpster as this could lead to unwanted rodents.  If the nearest bin to you is full and cannot be compacted, please dispose of your garbage in an alternate bin; there are 14 total in our park!

Thanks to all the residents who made it out to the Sea Aira Holiday Party!!  Even though it was raining all night, a lot of community members and kids came out to celebrate with us.  This was a fun time all around with crafts, snacks, games, and good conversations.  As wonderful as it was, there were still a few treats left over; we hope to see even more residents at our next community get-together!

Our park has been chosen for inspection by the department for Housing & Community Development: all residents’ homes will be subject to legal inspection by the HCD. The date of community inspection will be shared will all residents as well as posted in the office after it is scheduled- be sure to keep an eye out for that future notice.  In the meantime, please watch this informational video from the HCD about park inspections and how to prepare for them: youtube.com/watch?v=ixmGLc0B7ls

February 6^th in the parking lot of Himalayan Grill on PCH will be a Valentine’s theme Maker’s Market.  Pet friendly and kid friendly, over 30 local makers and craftsmen will be there help you find a perfect handmade and unique gift for your loved one.  Live music, too, from 10am until 2pm. While we all know our beautiful city has some amazing options for romantic date nights, why not try something casual for this Valentine’s Day-time?  Pacific City on PCH will have free parking all day on February 14^th.  You could take a stroll in the beachside shopping center and check out some live music on the Ocean Deck from 1-3pm.
