Sea Aira July News
July 1, 2021
School’s out, Sea Aira! We hope you had a very happy Father’s day as it also brought the first day of summer. Do you know how a regular joke becomes a dad-joke? When it becomes apparent! Here’s some exciting news, helpful reminders, and cool local tips to get us prepared for July:
Holding on to large trash, too big for our dumpsters? Near the office clubhouse on July 20 until July 23, we will have a 40 yard dumpster available for your oversized waste needs.
On June 15th, the majority of California’s pandemic response restrictions were lifted and the whole state has had a collective breath of fresh air. Following in line with local guidelines, we’d like to officially announce the reopening of our clubhouses! Remember, if your event is LESS than 10 days away from the deposit date, it must be a bank or postal money order of $100. Otherwise, you may use a personal check. Lastly, you or your guest may NOT park in the fire lanes or restricted parking. This rule is in effect at all times.
We are nearing our nation’s birthday and this July 4th surely will feel much FREER than the last one! Please be reminded, for the safety and comfort of all our residents, no fireworks are allowed within the park. However, there will be a spectacular fireworks display with over 1,300 rounds launched from the pier in Huntington Beach! Festivities will last all weekend long, beginning July 2nd. For more information about pyrotechnics, parades, or pier plaza festivities, visit https://www.hb4thofjuly.org/ Do you know why there aren’t any knock-knock jokes about the United States? Because freedom rings!
In other beach news, if you’ve been looking for a way to give back and help out our beautiful coastal city there will be an open beach group cleanup at 17th street on 8/7 from 8am-12pm as well as at the Brookhurst/State Beach entrance on 8/21 from 8am-12pm. Don’t forget sunscreen!
Hosted by the World Surf League, the Men and Women’s Junior Tour of the Vans US Open will be competing at the end of the month July 31 – Aug 1 along with entertainment and local vendors.
We hope you have a safe, healthy, and totally tubular July!
