COVID-19 Update

Reopening... Proceed with Caution
We are excited to see general progress “flattening the curve” throughout the nation and in each state that we operate. We welcome steps now being taken by state and local governments, as well as health departments, to gradually reopen the economy. We also recognize the importance of using caution and prudent practices in reopening our common areas and amenities. This is especially true in our age-qualified communities where age and other factors pose a greater risk. Because this is uncharted territory, and no one wants to see a second wave of COVID-19, the reopening of our facilities will be gradual and restrictions will continue to apply. These will be specific to each community and posted or otherwise communicated to all residents.
We will continue to closely monitor and take our cues from government and health department guidance. We greatly appreciate the patience and understanding of all community residents as we continue to navigate these new waters. Without resident cooperation, or in the event of a resurgence of the virus, we’ll likely have to again completely close or limit access to common areas and amenities.
As we continue to make progress dealing with this pandemic, it is important to continue cornerstone infection control measures. For the health and safety of everyone in the community, please follow CDC recommendations such as use of masks, social distancing, frequent hand-washing, and staying home if you are not well. Our staff will continue its higher frequency cleaning and sanitizing regimen. Minimize your contact with high-touch surfaces and use “touch-free” transaction technology whenever possible. Our FREE online Resident Portal, or the recently introduced Automatic ePay program with low-tech paper enrollment, are both excellent options to eliminate trips to the community office.
Let’s continue to stay healthy and work together as we move forward in measured steps to reopen our common areas and amenities.
